A.L. Webster, 89, of Oregon, passed away Oct. 18, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care hospital in St. Joseph.
He was born in Brush, Colo. on Jan. 9, 1926. A.L. graduated from Mound City High School. He then served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II as a staff sergeant.
On Sept. 12, 1946 he married Anna Lou Markt in Hiawatha, Kan.
A.L. worked as a mechanic for International Harvester and St. Joseph Diesel.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Arthur and Bessie (Stroud) Webster; and his sisters, Georgia Million, Nellie Shaw and Grace Mary Vallone.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Anna Lou, of their Oregon home; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Rose Webster of St. Joseph; daughter, Sandra Justice of Oregon; half sister, Ruby Gooden of Rapid City, SD; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services: Thurs., Oct. 22, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon. Family visitation: Wednesday, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Interment with full military rites: Maple Grove Cemetery.
