Alex K. Harris

Alex K. Harris, 18, of Oregon, Mo., passed away July 24, 2022.

He was born in St. Joseph, Mo on Sept. 11, 2003 to Tyson and Nikki (Fannon) Harris. Alex graduated from South Holt High School last spring, where he played football.

Alex worked as a guide for Harris Outfitters. He loved hunting and fishing, his dog, Thor, and anything outdoors.

Preceding him in death were great grandparents Richard and Essie Harris, Richard and Betty Stewart, Bonnie and Bud Fannon, and David Legaard.

Survivors include his parents; brothers, Emre Harris, Colton Swopes, and Asher Harris; sister, Haisley Harris; grandparents, French and Kelly Harris of Forest City, Mo., Henry and Barbie Hicks of Jay, Oklahoma; Kim and Terri Carmichael of Maryville, Mo. and Charlotte Buhman; great grandparents, Beverly Giesken and Jan Legaard; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family visitation: Thursday, July 28, 2022, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Services: Friday, July 29, 2022, 2:00 pm, South Holt High School gym. Memorials may be left to the the Alex Harris Memorial Fund in care of Nodaway Valley Bank.
