Amy M. Ensz

Amy Michelle Ensz was born on March 19, 1974 in Fairfax, Missouri to Stephen and Christena (Stein) Hunziger.

Amy graduated from South Holt High School in 1992 and from Park University Nursing School in 1999. She worked as a registered nurse at area hospitals and nursing homes.

She married Derek S. Ensz, and they later divorced.

Amy passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at her Rosendale, Missouri home at the age of 41.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Stephen T. Hunziger; paternal grandfather, Thomas R. Hunziger; and maternal grandparents, Dorothy Bailey and John Stein Sr.

Survivors include her mother, Christena Hunziger of Rosendale, Missouri; stepmother, Rhonda Hunziger of Craig, Missouri; daughter, Cloe Ensz of Hutchinson, Kansas; son, Wade Acton of Oregon, Missouri; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Contessa Hunziger of Oregon; Chester and Mindy Hunziger of Rosendale; and Timothy and Amelia Hunziger of Kansas City, Missouri; sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Brian Estes of Maysville, Missouri; stepsister, Amanda and her husband John Driskell of Tarkio, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Shirley Hunziger of Oregon; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends beginning at 6:00 pm. Private family inurnment: Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Amy Ensz Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
