Arnold W. Rehm was born on January 12, 1916 in Clatonia, Nebraska to William P. and Frieda (Grummert) Rehm.
On February 9, 1941 he married Malinda M. Knoche in Plymouth, Nebraska.
Arnold was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Mound City, Missouri, and a past member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Craig. He served in many capacities and was a very active member all of his life.
Arnold passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph at the age of 97.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Mary Maria (Seitz) Grabowski; his wife; brothers, Richard and Alvin; sister, Milda Vorderstrasse; stepbrother, Allen Grabowski; and stepsisters, Lorna Kisling and Verneal Grummert.
Survivors include his six children and their spouses, Carol (Billy Paul) Sharp of Mound City, Ken (Barbara) Rehm of Alva, Florida, Janet (Leroy) Conner of Plattsburg, Missouri, Lois (Willis) Deering of Fillmore, Missouri, Ron (Janice) Rehm of Craig, and Bill (Connie) Rehm of Savannah, Missouri; 17 grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 13 step great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren; one stepbrother-in-law, Vernon Grummert; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Mound City. Interment was at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Craig. Memorials may be directed to the charity of donor's choice.
