Barbara Gale (Snider) Raether passed away on Monday,
May 24th, 2021
at her home in Mound City, Missouri after a courageous battle with cancer.
Barbara was born on
May 24
, 1954 at Fairfax, Missouri to Mary Marie (Sipes) Cardwell. She was adopted as a newborn by Paul and Alpha Snider. Barbara graduated from Fairfax High School.
She was married to Charles Raether at Maysville, Missouri on
December 10
, 1990.
Barbara was a member of the Church of God in Craig, Missouri then later was baptized and became a member of the First Christian Church in Mound City.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Paul and Alpha Snider; aunt, Shirley Lundry; a cousin, Sharon Lundry; grandparents, Jasper and Nora Kirk; and a special friend, C.W. Radley. She is survived by cousins and an uncle.
Funeral services: Friday, May 28, 2021, 11:00 am, First Christian Church, Mound City. Visitation one hour prior to services, at the church. Interment: English Grove Cemetery, Fairfax.
