Beverly Anne Gilland, 82, passed away May 13, 2019 at an Excelsior Springs, Missouri care center.
She was born in Mound City, Missouri on January 20, 1937, one of 12 children of Albert L. and Alice Nell (Prather) Fries. Beverly graduated from Mound City High School in 1955.
Beverly was married to Ronald Gilland on April 11, 1981, and he preceded her in death in 2013. She was also preceded in death by sons, John and Steve Miller; daughter, Kathy Frost; brothers, Junior, Kenneth, Jimmy, Jackie, and Emmett Fries; and sisters, Susie Nowling, Joyce Lueck, Ruthie Steeby, and Betty Fries.
Survivors include her daughters, Patty Osten, Skiatook, Oklahoma, and Tammy Thomas, Gladstone, Missouri; sons, Bill Miller, Fairfax, Missouri, and Robert Miller, Colorado; brother, Edwin Fries, Craig, Missouri; sister, Judy Wiley, Maryville, Missouri; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Beverly enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, and gardening. She also enjoyed going to auctions and casinos.
Graveside services and inurnment: Thurs., May 16, 2019, 7:00 pm, Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City. Family will greet friends beginning at 6:00 pm at the Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City.
