There is a new star in the heavens as a bright light went out on earth.
Beverly Ann Johnson was born Aug. 6, 1930 in St Joseph, Mo.,the youngest child of Hollis and Nora Pile. She passed away Dec. 21, 2015 in Loveland, Colorado.
Bev grew up in Oregon, Mo. She graduated from Oregon High School in 1948 and went on to Maryville College in Maryville, Mo.where she became a first grade teacher.
She married Gary H. Johnson on June 14, 1953. He passed away March 24, 2005, and she deeply missed him for her remaining years.
Bev and her husband lived most of their married life in Fort Collins, Colorado and their mountain home in Allenspark, Colorado.
Survivors include one sister, Bette Williams, of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and one brother. Though she never had children of her own she loved all those she taught and was a beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Services: Thurs., Jan. 7, 2016, 1:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends following the services. Inurnment: Stella Cemetery, Stella, Neb.
