Beverly Pipkin

Beverly Nixon Pipkin, 87, of Thornton, Colorado, passed away on October 22, 2017.
Mrs. Pipkin was born in Mound City, Missouri on March 10, 1930. She grew up in Maitland, graduating from Maitland High School in 1948.
She married Robert Pipkin in 1951. During their 49 year marriage they lived in Missouri, New Jersey and Colorado while raising their three children.  Mrs. Pipkin was a travel agent prior to her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Russell Nixon; her husband, Robert; and her sister, Jean Pipes.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Pipkin II (Deanna) and Jeff Pipkin; daughter Susan Hughes (Buc); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Sara and Alex Hughes, all of Colorado.
Survivors also include her cherished siblings, David Nixon of Jacksonville, Florida, Eleanor King of Kansas City, Missouri and Robert Nixon of Bakersfield, California; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Services: Sat., June 23, 2018, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Reception: American Legion Hall in Maitland following the services. Private family inurnment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City.
