Beverly Jean Scamman, age 85, passed away peacefully October 11, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Bev was born on May 31, 1940 to Walter and Goldie (Beam) Smith. She was the youngest of five girls.
She married Dr. Jack Scamman on September 30, 1962. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Bev was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially embraced her role as Nan and Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by her daughter, Jill (Garry) Garst; sons, Tony Scamman and Todd (Kristi) Scamman; grandchildren, Trey (Shelby) Garst, Alex (Trevor) Drewes, Skylar and Brady Scamman; and great-grandchildren, Brett, Thomas, Maren Garst and Kyper and Sutton Drewes.
Bev’s generous, supportive spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who know her.
A private family ceremony will be held later date to celebrate Beverly’s life.
