Bruno A. Soto was born on August 27, 1983 in St. Joseph, Missouri. A lifetime resident of the Holt County area, Bruno graduated from Mound City High School in 2003. He attended the Mound City Baptist Church.
Bruno passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at his Mound City home at the age of 30.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Horne; and an uncle, Jerry Horne.
Survivors include his mother, Ida Soto of Mound City; his maternal grandmother, Loretta Horne of Mound City, and aunt, Julie Ann Horne of St. Joseph.
Family visitation was held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm followed by funeral services at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Mound City. A private family interment was held at Mound City Cemetery in Mound City. Memorials may be directed to the Soto family through the Mound City Baptist Church.
