Carolynn “Clee” Lee was born on March 5, 1954 in Vallejo, California. She was the only child of Young Dia and Theresa (Kim) Lee.
Her father was a Navy ‘lifer,’ so Clee had many adventures growing up. She lived in several places and experienced many adversities.
Clee passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Community Hospital in Fairfax, Missouri at the age of 61.
Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her life partner, Rosa Mary Luben of their Rock Port home.
Her younger peers say she was extremely talented in art and jewelry making, but cooking was her gift. Clee was a wonderful, wonderful cook. Her culinary talents were amazing. If you left her house hungry it was your fault!
Clee also loved to fish, mostly with her good buddy ole pal Evan Andrews. They spent a lot of time trying to catch ‘the big one.’ She was a Kansas City Chiefs fan, and also enjoyed a good poker game.
Clee’s creative uniqueness was very attractive. She was a determined, opinionated, bullheaded, strong woman with not much of a filter, but she was also kind and generous. She will be sadly missed.
Thanks go to Stella Paulette and Shelly Dommine for always being there for her and traveling so far to say goodbye. Thanks also go to Nancy “Sammy” Harmon, Clee’s Brownville friends, and Jane Andrew.
