Charles H. Milby

Charles H. Milby was born on Nov. 30, 1933 in Greene County, Kentucky. He was one of eight children of William Melvin and Bettie Ermine (Price) Milby.
On February 6, 1954 he married Geneva A. Skaggs, and they became parents of four children.
Charles passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at a Mound City, Missouri care center at the age of 82.
Preceding him in death was his wife, parents, and siblings, Kenneth, James, William and Welby Milby, Inez Baumgardner, Wyanetta DeSpain, Betty Milby, and Zelda Mae Lobb.
Survivors include his children, Larry (Kellie) Milby of Downs, Illinois, Ronnie (Barbie) Milby of Bloomington, Illinois, and Donnie (Natalie) Milby of Rockford, Illinois; daughter, Jeanette “Jan” (Stan) Seitz, Mound City; 12 grandchildren, Luke Milby, Jacob (Kendall) Milby, Andrea Milby, Danielle (Judd) Ankrom, Mitchell Milby, April (Jessie) McGaughy, Casey (Tiffany) Seitz, Kelley (Airon) Seitz, Kristin (Brad) Meyer, Keri (Tyler) Johnson, Stephanie (Jacob) Hall,  and Nicole Braun; nine great grandchildren, Abby and Maggie Ankrom, Jaxon and Hudson McGaughy, Marshall Milby, Carsten, Owen, Kai, and Koa Seitz; and nieces and nephews.
Charles was a loving husband and father, and provided well for his family as a farmer in Illinois all his life. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved teasing his pastor, joking with his friends, and spending time with his friends and church family. Charles knew Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior and was ready to walk with him.
Services will be held on Thursday, June, 9, 2016, at 10:00 am, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Normal, Illinois. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be held at Friends Cemetery in Bentown, Illinois. Memorials may be directed to Friends Cemetery.
