Charles W.F. Vaught

Charles William Franklin Vaught was born on January 3, 1913 in
Fairfax, Missouri. He was one of eight children born to Boyd 
Fielder and Etta May (Poe) Vaught.
 
Charles graduated from Irish Grove High School and attended 
Tarkio College.
 
On April 21, 1941 he married Iva Belle Hurst, and they became 
parents of one daughter. Charles served in the U.S. Army during 
WWII.
 
Iva passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012. Charles passed away
Wednesday, November 22, 2012 at the Pleasant View Nursing 
Home in Rock Port, Missouri at the age of 99.
 
He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lewis, 
Robert, and Lester; an infant brother, George Vaught; sister, Mary
Porter; and an infant sister, Lettie Vaught. 
 
Survivors include their daughter, Joan Vaught of Rock Port; his 
sister, Doris Winkelman of Richland, Washington; and nieces
and nephews.
 
Charles worked as a photographer. He was a member of the 
Baptist Church. 
 
Private family graveside services were held at the English
Grove Cemetery in Fairfax, Missouri.
