Charlotte (Lease) Eastman, 97, formerly of Bigelow, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at a Shawnee, Kansas care center.
Charlotte was born in Bigelow on May 9, 1919, one of two children of Charles and Louise (Siekmann) Lease.
Charlotte graduated from Fortescue High School in 1937. She worked as a nurse in several healthcare settings, in several states and in several countries.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Lawrence Lease.
Survivors include her children, Michael (Danielle) Eastman of Harbor Heights, Texas, Judith (Bob) Casper of Mission, Kansas, and Robert (Karol) Eastman of Fayetteville, North Carolina; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Services: Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 2:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City. Memorials: the Smile Train.
