Charlotte M. Quick

Charlotte Quick, 98, of Oregon, Missouri, formerly of Forest City, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 9th, 2022, at Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Charlotte was born May 5th, 1924 in Mound City, Missouri to Robert M. and Maggie (Carder) Long.

Charlotte and her first husband, Carl Huffer, had one son, Stephen Huffer, who proceeded her in death.

Charlotte and Carl ran Huffer Sundries and the Huffer Service Station in Forest City for many years.

Charlotte was also proceeded in death by husbands Carl Huffer and Gene Quick; and siblings, Dorothy Cramer, Daisy Gall, Lois Redman, Edna Long, Betty Johnson, Willis, Johnny, Elvis, and Rice Long.

Survivors include daughter-in-law, Peggy Huffer; grandsons, Sean Huffer and Ryan (Anessia) Huffer; great grandchildren, Tyler,  Kelsey, Jake, and Stephanie; and great-great grandchildren, Lillie, Grayson, and Ryan.

Charlotte has been cremated under the care and direction of the Chamberlain Funeral Home of Oregon, Missouri. Per Charlotte’s wishes there will be no service. Private family inurnment at Forest City Union Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Forest City Union Cemetery.
