Danny E. Diggs
was born in St. Joseph on July 14, 1947, the son of Claude H. and Bobbie (Nauman) Diggs. Danny graduated from Mound City High School.
In 1967 Danny married Beverly Shelton, and they became parents of one daughter. Danny worked for MoDOT, retiring as a maintenance supervisor after 27 years of service.
Danny passed away on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at his Mound City home at the age of 67.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; their daughter and son-in-law, Melisa and Brad Allan of King City, Missouri; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Patrick Long of New Point, Missouri; brothers, Tommy and wife Janelle Kerns of Mound City, and Clark and Shane Diggs, both of Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
Services: Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, 2:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. The family will greet friends following the services. Private inurnment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City.
