David Dean Nowling

David Dean Nowling was born on September 29, 1942 in Anderson, Missouri to Floyd Benjamin “Punch” and Fern Elaine (Quimby) Nowling.

He worked as a truck driver for Patterson Ranch.

David married Carolyn Sue Fries in September of 1961, and they became parents of four children. They later divorced. He then married Beverly Ann Walker, and they became parents of one son. They later divorced.

David passed away at his home on February 13, 2012 at the age of 69.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his former wife, Beverly.

Survivors include his sons, David D., Glen D., and Kenton D. Nowling of Craig, and Brian K. Walker of Amazonia, Missouri; daughters, Shannon DeAnn Hutton of Liberty, Missouri, and Layla Kiona McClain of DeKalb, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Glen Dale and Pam Nowling of Vacaville, California; and nine grandchildren, Chance, Dalton, Jessie, Ashley, Amber, Brody, Brandon, Christian, and Nicholas.

David enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Services were held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Mound City. Interment was held at the IOOF Cemetery in Craig.
