Debra Ann Bomar was born in Fairfax, Missouri on January 3 , 1960. She was one of six children of Frederick Ray and Betty Jean (Sipes) Bomar.
Debbie grew up and attended school in Mound City. She was currently working as a cook at Quacker's Steakhouse in Mound City. She had also worked at Northwest Missouri Industries in Rock Port.
Debbie passed away on February 6 , 2021 at a Lincoln, Nebraska hospital following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Lee Bomar; and brothers, Johnny Ray Bomar and Todd Allan Bomar.
Survivors include her partner, John Gard of Maitland; her five children, Adacia (Adrian) Smith of Oregon, Missouri, Derick (Michelle) Bomar of Mound City, Dustin (Ashley) Bomar of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Dakota Bomar and Daylon Bomar, both of Mound City; eleven grandchildren, Selena and Jocelyn Smith, Kaitlin Miller, Caden, Emma and River Bomar, Kallie and Aubrey Griefe (Bomar); Kyzer Yeager, Maela Perkins, and Damion Bomar; two great grandchildren; brother, Kevin (Annie) Bomar of Craig, Missouri; and sisters, Theresa (Paul) Kurtz of Kansas City, Missouri and Beverly (Keith) Dreher of Mound City.
Debbie enjoyed playing bingo and cooking. Her favorites times were spent with her children and grandchildren.
Private family services: Sunday, February 14, 2021, 2:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Inurnment will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date. Memorials: to the Debra Bomar family.
