Dennis N. Meyer

Dennis Neal Meyer was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on January 7, 1949 to William R. "Billy Joe" and Phyllis J. (Doebbeling) Meyer.
Dennis graduated from South Holt High School and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia. He farmed in Holt County.
On February 23, 1997, he married Beverly Derr in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dennis passed away at his Maitland, Missouri home, on December 13, 2017 at the age of 68.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Beverly, of the home; his sons, Neal Meyer of Salem, New Jersey, David Meyer of Mound City, Missouri, and Daniel Meyer of Columbia, Missouri; daughters, Angela (Ivan) Vancas of Rapid City, South Dakota and Michelle (Troy) Feller of Blue Springs, Missouri; brother, Daren (Lori) Meyer of Mound City; sister, Cheri (Aaron) Conine of Everett, Washington; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services: Monday, December 18, 2017, 11 a.m., New Point Christian Church. The family will greet friends beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Memorials:  New Point Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery, or Mount Hope Cemetery.
