Donna L. Golden

Donna Lee Golden was born on April 4, 1945 in Craig, Missouri. She was the only child of Gordon D. and Frances Lillian (Osborn) Travis. Donna graduated from Craig High School.

On July 16, 1966 she married Billy Golden at the Craig Christian Church. They became parents of two children.

Donna drove the OATS bus for 40 years. She also cooked at the Squaw Creek Restaurant for a number of years.

Some of Donna’s interests were cooking, baking, canning, crocheting, and making homemade candy. She loved her dogs. Donna attended the Big Lake Baptist Church.

Donna passed away at Fairfax Community Hospital on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Billy; son, the Honorable Duane (Sara) Golden of Des Moines, Iowa; daughter, Deborah D. Huddleston of Montana; grandchildren, Grant, Veronika, William (Emma), Nicole, and Luke; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Monday, August 19, 2024, 11:00 am, Big Lake Baptist Church. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment: I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorials: The Alzheimer’s Association or the senior center of donor’s choice.
