Donna Faye Howard

Donna Faye Howard was born on July 29, 1935 in Oregon, Missouri, one of two daughters born to Lester H. and Myrtle Faye (Snethen) Painter. She graduated from Oregon High School in 1953.

On December 22, 1959 she married Lawrence A. "Larry" Howard in Springfield, Missouri. He passed away on Oct. 15, 2013.

Donna worked as a grain marketer for Tom Gumbert at Gumbert Grain Exchange .

Donna passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at a St. Joseph hospital at the age of 78.

In addition to her husband, Larry, she was preceded in death by her parents, and sister and brother-in-law, Alberta and Donald Greiner.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Maxine Brunsmann of Winterset, Iowa; and nieces and nephews, including niece, Nancy Neidel and her husband Bud of St. Joseph, and nephew, D.A. Greiner and his wife Sharon of Oregon.

Donna was a member of the Oregon United Methodist Church.

Services were held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon. Family greeted friends one hour prior to services. Interment was held at New Point Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the TJ Hall Building, or the New Point Cemetery.
