Dorothy D. Galpin

Dorothy D. Galpin, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her St. Joseph home.

Dorothy was born in Forest City, Missouri on October 20, 1934, one of seven children of Clay and Orlee (Huston) Moser. Dorothy graduated from Craig, Missouri High School.

Dorothy married Duane Edwards and they became parents of five children. They later divorced. Dorothy then married Heath "Bud" Galpin. He passed away in 2008.

Dorothy was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Terry and Steven Edwards; and brothers, Charles, Tom and Jerry Moser.

Survivors include her daughters, Debi (Daniel) Pickman of Lancaster, Kansas and Brenda (Mike) Rehagen of Westphalia, Missouri; son, Donnie Edwards (Christy George) of St. Joseph, Missouri; brother, David Moser of Arizona; sisters, Maxine Pence of Liberty, Missouri and Helen Buirley of Jackson Center, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Services: Wednesday, February 21, 2018, 11:00 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon, Missouri. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am. Interment: Forest City Union Cemetery. Memorials: Forest City Union Cemetery Association.
