Dwight Hall, 71, passed away in his Oregon home on April 22, 2018.
Dwight was born January, 11, 1947 in St. Joseph, MO to Clarence and Hazel
Hall.
He married Rosemary Brown on December 21, 1967 in Oregon, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Fern and Tom Thompson;
brother, Wayne Hall and sisters-in-law, Mattie Thornton, Barbara Hall and Sherry Patton.
Dwight graduated in 1965 from Oregon High School and attended University of Missouri where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Ag Economics in 1969. He served in the Army National Guard from 1970 to 1976.
Dwight is survived by his wife, Rosemary, of their home; son, Andy (Sandy) Hall, Strafford, Missouri; daughter, Heidi (Steve) Rodrick, The Woodlands, Texas; grandchildren, Emma and Drew Hall, Mac and Clara Rodrick; siblings, Don Hall of Mound City, Dean (Twyla) Hall of Oregon, Marcina (Dale) Holstine of Mound City, and Mary Ellen Hall O’Phelan of Atlanta; sister-in-law, Joan Hall of Oregon, brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Becky Stoecklein of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dwight was a member of the Oregon United Methodist Church and the American Legion. He obtained his real estate broker’s license and began his career with Hall Realty in Oregon alongside his brother Don. He also farmed and raised livestock and owned and operated Northwest Seed conditioning plant.
Of all his careers, his passion was Mighty Mo Munchies, a company he created from his daughter’s college marketing project. It was truly a family affair, involving his wife, children and even the grandchildren.
Dwight loved fishing, hunting, camping, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren. He was happiest outdoors and surrounded by his family and friends. He was known for his genuine kindness and sense of humor. He had a talent for innovation and created many toys to entertain the grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Oregon United Methodist Church at 10:30 am Thursday, April 26, 2018. A private burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to Holt Country Cancer Fund or Winding River Ranch, Grand Lake, Colorado.
