Elizabeth Ann Moore, age 74, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2019 in hospice care surrounded by loved ones in Ruskin, Fl.

She was born May 3, 1944 in Phillips, Tex. to Kathryn and Alfred Eisenberg.  The family moved to Oregon, Mo. where she attended first grade and graduated in 1962 from Oregon High School.

Elizabeth was a strong and loving lady.  She did not know a stranger, she had a loving spirit, and had an effortless way of putting a smile on your face.

Elizabeth had a passion for helping others. She volunteered with church, Head Start and 4H. This passion led to her pursuing a teaching degree from Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, Mo., class of 1986.

She was employed with Maries County R2 in Belle, Mo. With over 19 years of teaching, she had a legacy of students that respected and admired her passionate approach to enriching and challenging students to reach their full potential. She remained in contact with her students through the years.

She will be greatly missed and is survived by her loving daughters, Joyce (Quentin) Yocam and Amy Hamilton (Eddy Diaz); granddaughter, Lily Faith Yocam; and grandson, Mathew James Hamilton II. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Pastor Richard (Sharon) Eisenberg and Dr. Robert (Dinah) Eisenberg; sister-in-law, Donna Andresen; nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Zonamaria Eisenberg; mother and stepfather, Kathryn and Kermit Deal; and father and stepmother, Alfred and Janet (Dodds) Eisenberg.

Services: Saturday, June 29, 2019, 10:30 am, Grace Baptist Church, 1124 S. 12 th St., St. Joseph, Mo. Everyone is invited to a luncheon following the services. Graveside service: 1:30 pm, Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon, Missouri.
