Frances Ann "Fran" Wheeler

Frances Ann "Fran" Wheeler was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania on March 29, 1931. She was the youngest of eight children of Albert and Camilla (Rutkowski) Horonzy.

Fran married Beryl Allen Wheeler on June 18, 1952 in at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Tarkio, Missouri. They became parents of three children.

Fran worked as legal secretary before she and Beryl moved to Seward, Nebraska in 1984.

Fran passed away on Friday morning, February 26, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Seward at the age of 84.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Beryl in 2006; their son Jack in 2002; and brother-in-law Steve Wheeler in 2015.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sherry Wheeler of Grand Island, Nebraska; daughter, Annemarie Martin of Seward, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Judy Wheeler of Red Oak, Iowa; and four grandchildren, Mark Strutzman, Danielle Wheeler, and Nathan and Katelynn Martin.

Fran was a devoted member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed following the activities of her grandchildren.
