Franklin Albertson

Franklin Albertson was born in Lathrop, Missouri on May 12, 1935. He was the son of William Franklin and Julia Leota (Stone) Albertson. Frank attended school in St. Joseph, Missouri.

In 1960 he married Loretta "Mickey" Hall. They lived in Maitland and Big Lake before moving to Mound City in 2011. Frank worked as a painter for Northwest Missouri State University.

Frank passed away at his Mound City home on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the age of 79.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Terry; daughter, Patricia Stinnett; and sister, Betty Bowland.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mickey, of their home; sons, William Albertson of St. Joseph, Jerry Albertson of Wicomico, Virginia, and Randy Albertson of Graham, Missouri; daughter, Penny Long of Maitland; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services: Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, 11:00 am, First Baptist Church, Big Lake, Mo. Family visitation: Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Memorials: American Cancer Society or Big Lake Improvement Association.
