G. Dean Greene was born on July 8, 1935 in Forbes, Missouri. He was the son of Jesse A. and LaVetta F. (Sipes) Green. Dean
graduated from Forest City High School in 1953.
He married Berneta Wardlow in 1954 and they became parents of six children. Dean operated heavy equipment and also served as Chief of Police for Forest City for many years.
Berneta passed away in 2011. Dean passed away on June 3, 2015 at a Savannah, Missouri healthcare facility at the age of 79.
Dean was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pam Hughes; and an infant sister.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Carrie, Richard and Robin, and Dennis, all of St. Joseph, and Greg and Tiffany of Amazonia, Missouri; daughter and son-in-law, Lorie and Tim Wright of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Services: Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the services. Interment at Forest City, Cemetery.
