Hazel M. (Frazier) Laukemper was born on August 28, 1921 near Forest City, Missouri, the youngest of 11 children of Henry and Anna Maud (Stroud) Frazier.
On March 23, 1950 she was united in marriage to Teddy R. “Ted” Laukemper. They lived in Kansas City before moving to California.
Hazel passed away in an Olathe, Kansas care center on November 1, 2020, at the age of 99.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Maud Frazier; husband, Ted; and siblings, George Allen Frazier, Lloyd Leslie Frazier, Paul H. Frazier, Edna L. (Frazier) Andrews, Grace W. (Frazier) Gaskill; William Frazier, Elvin Curtis Frazier, Harold Corbin Frazier, John W. Frazier, and Donald Frazier.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Joe Laukemper and Glen Morris of Mound City, Phil Morris of Oregon, Missouri, Jim Gaskill of LaBelle, Florida, and Jonathan Frazier of Kansas City, and two nieces, Judy (Morris) Walter of Bethany, Missouri and Lita Gail (Skip) Laukemper of North Fort Myers, Florida.
Graveside services and interment was held on Friday morning, Nov. 6, 2020 at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Mound City. Care entrusted to Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City.
