Helen L. Carter

Helen L. Carter was born August 13, 1927 in Sac City, Iowa, one of six children born to Clair and Golda (Cornell) Armagost.

On February 14, 1948 Helen married E. C. Carter in Fairfax, Missouri. He preceded her in death.

Helen passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at her Oregon home at the age of 87.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her sister, Lillian Carter, of Maryville, Missouri; brother, Al Armagost of Montana; loving family Scott, Marsha and Stormie Milne, and Derek, Daysha, Hayes and Piper Weller, all of Oregon; her dear nephew, Rick Carter and his wife, Tamra, of Maryville; and other nieces and nephews.

Services: Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Oregon United Methodist Church. Family visitation: Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials: United Methodist Church Building Fund.
