Inez Francis Reynolds

Inez Francis Reynolds was born on November 3, 1911 in Weston, Missouri. She was one of nine children of Logan Dysart and Mayme Francis (Williams) Hays.

On January 18, 1930 she married William H. Reynolds in Savannah, Missouri They became parents of five children. He preceded her in death in 1978.

Inez continued to live independently in her Forest City home until recently, when she entered the Oregon Care Center. She passed away there on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the age of 100.

In addition to her husband, Bill, she was also preceded by five brothers, Logan, Loren, Ora, Charles and Lestel Hays; four sisters, Betty Clark and LaVera Reynolds, and two infant sisters; and one daughter, Mary Francis Black.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Jerry (Jeanne) Reynolds of Forest City, Lola Marie (John) Anno of Rulo, Nebraska, Wilma Alice (Gene) Molendorp of Peculiar, Missouri, and Carol Ann (Gerald) Sisk of Forest City; son-in-law, Byron Black; 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 24 great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Forest City Christian Church. Burial was held at the Benton Cemetery in Mound City. Memorials may be directed to the Forest City Christian Church, or to Children's Mercy Hospital.
