Irvin Rother was born on

, 1931 in Craig, Missouri. He was one of two children of Carl Herman and Edith (Lipps) Rother.
Irvin attended school in Maitland, Missouri and then entered the US Army, serving in Korea.
On
February 21
, 1954 he married Emily Jennie Martinez. They moved to Maitland shortly after their marriage, and became parents of two children. Irvin operated the family business, Rother Feed and Grain in Maitland for many years. Emily preceded him in death in 2020.
Irvin was also preceded by his parents and his sister, Helen Bammer. Irvin passed away on Monday,
April 18
, 2022 at his Maitland home.
Irvin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sabina Rother of Maitland; daughter and son-in-law, Kathline and Henry Patterson, Lakewood, Washington; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Irvin was a member of the American Legion, Post 256, Maitland. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
