Iva Belle Vaught

Iva Belle Vaught was born on June 19, 1920. She was one of five children born to William W. and Lizzie M. (Tieman) Hurst.

On April 21, 1941 she married Charles W. F. Vaught, and they became parents of one daughter. Iva was a homemaker.

Iva passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Rock Port, Missouri at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Hurst; and her sisters, Margaret Hurst, Dessie Eddy, and Helen Jennings.

Survivors include her husband, Charles, of Rock Port; their daughter, Joan Vaught of Rock Port, and nieces and nephews.

Iva taught children’s Sunday school. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and collecting dolls.

Private graveside services and interment were held at the English Grove Cemetery in Fairfax, Missouri.
