James W Nauman

The James W. Nauman family would like to announce his move from this life to the afterlife. He moved on Monday , the 8 ^th of May 2023 . He goes to join his parents, Herbert James “H.J.” and Barbara (Webster) Nauman.

James entered this life on September 22 , 1959. He graduated from Mound City High School, and then joined the U.S. Navy. After his active duty James served in the Reserves.

In 1982 he met and briefly dated the young lady he would one day marry. In 2009 he reconnected with her and on June 30 , 2012 married April (Davis) Williams. James and April led a life of adventure and fun, sharing laughter and sharing service with God. April survives of the home.

James loved his family and friends. He was a loving man of God; a husband; a daddy; and poppy to five grandchildren, Andrew, Victoria, Liliana, and twins Arlinn and Elspeth. He tried to be an awesome stepdaddy to April C. (Williams) Gramenz and to her husband, Kyle Gramenz. He was also the brother of two younger siblings, Allen “Bub” (Linda) Nauman and Staci (Shawn) Murphy.

Services with military rites: Saturday, May 20 , 2023, 10:00 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Private family inurnment: Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
