Jana B. Parsons was born on July 24, 1966 in Martinsville, Indiana. She was the daughter of Fred Earl and Janet Cromer.
She married Scott Parsons in 1988, and they became parents of one daughter. Jana had worked as an office manager in Wisconsin before moving to Missouri in 2010.
Jana passed away in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at the age of 48.
Survivors include her husband, Scott, of their Forest City home; their daughter, Amanda Kay Parsons, of Oregon, Missouri; her parents, Earl and Janet Cromer of Oregon, Missouri; brother, Fred Cromer, of Oregon, Missouri; and brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Starr Cromer and their son Adam, of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon. Family visitation was held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
