J.C. Mabrey, 83, of Independence, Missouri, formerly of Corning, Missouri, passed away to his eternal home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at a Lee's Summit, Missouri hospital.
He was born on January 4, 1935 in Corning to Charles S. and Dora L. (Fickle) Mabrey. They preceded him in death.
J.C. was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He enjoyed flea marketing, and played the guitar in a gospel band some years ago. J.C. retired from the Yearbook House of Kansas City, Missouri.
Survivors include his sisters, Lida Meek of Savannah, Missouri, and Bobbi Sartain of Independence, Missouri; nephews and nieces, Roy Gene, Charlie, Kim, Teresa, Brenda, Lydia, Michael, Kevin, Danny, and Travis; and many other great nieces, nephews and extended family members.
His family is so thankful for the 83 great years of life that Uncle J experienced this side of heaven.
