Jean Yost of Rock Port, Missouri died August 20, 2022 at Bryan East hospital in Lincoln Nebraska. She was 87.
Jean was born on June 6, 1935 in Lincoln, Nebraska, one of four children born to Clarence and Eileen (Deibel) Humann.
Jean married Billy Yost in 1954. They were the proud parents of three children.
Jean spent her life in Nebraska City and worked at Marie's, Normans, Country Mart and Food Pride.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was involved with the choir and
Sunday
school. Jean was a member of the Jaycee Jaynes, at one time serving as president.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Eileen Humann; stepmother, Irene Humann; husband, Billy; and her brother, Jim.
Jean is survived by her sons, Dennis (Vicki) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Greg (Dianna) of Nebraska City; daughter, Sally (Harvey) Hurst of Rock Port; brother, Dean Humann; sister, Joan Fitzgerald; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services: Tuesday, October 4, 2022, 1:00 pm, Watson Baptist Church. Inurnment: Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family.
