Jerry D. Bennett, 71, of Mound City, Mo., formerly of La Crosse, Kansas, passed away July 25, 2020 at a Lincoln, Nebraska hospital.
He was born December 2, 1948 in Trenton, Missouri to Calvin C. and Grace N. (Shaw) Bennett.
Jerry attended college at Missouri Western State College, and worked as a psychiatric aid at the St. Joseph State Hospital.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Sylvia. Survivors include his sibings, Carla Jean (Steve) Milazzo, Forrest Lee (Adele) Bennett, and John Martin (Tracy) Bennett; children, including Thomas R. Bennett; and nieces and nephews.
Services are pending at the Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City.
