Jerry Lee Brunk

Jerald Lee "Jerry Lee" Brunk, Jr., 62, passed away at his Savannah, Missouri home on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

Jerry Lee was born on October 2, 1961 to Jerald Lee "Jerry" and Betty Brooks (Prussman) Brunk. He graduated from South Holt High School in 1980. Jerry Lee was an Eagle Scout, a member of Mic-O-Say, and a former member of the Longriders. Jerry Lee farmed in Holt County.

Some of his hobbies were gardening, collecting toy trains, and fishing. He was a member of the Oregon First Christian Church and a former member of BACA. Jerry Lee also enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles, and collecting and shooting guns.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Betty, and two grandchildren, Lilly and Morgan Myers.

Survivors include his father, Jerry; fiancee, Joy Thompson; daughters, Melissa (Carson) Harrison, Cassie Brunk and Jessi Johnson; sister, Dana (Donnie) Medsker and son Cole; and grandchildren, Bayleigh and Jacob Harrison.

Services:  Monday, October 30, 2023, 10:30 am, First Christian Church, Oregon, Missouri. Family visitation: Sunday, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Interment: Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon. Memorials: Maple Grove Cemetery.
