Joseph H. Noellsch, 81, passed away Nov. 4, 2015 at a St. Joseph hospital.
Joseph was born on Feb. 21, 1934 in Oregon, Mo. He graduated from Oregon High School and then from the University of Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959.
Joseph married Elisabethe Veil, and they became parents of four children. They later divorced. Joseph then married Ellen Hunziger. She preceded him in death in 2002.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, Nelson and Charmion (Murray) Noellsch; an infant son; son, James; and sister, Dorothy Norton.
Survivors include his first wife, Elisabethe “Liz” of Oregon; their sons, Michael of Maitland, Mo. and Daniel and his companion Cara White of Forest City, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Beverly) Noellsch of Skidmore, Mo., and Robert (Mary Jane) Noellsch of Bowling Green, Mo.; brother-in-law, William Norton of Independence, Mo.; grandsons, Tavin (Bree) Noellsch of Oregon and Coldin Noellsch of Maitland, Mo.; aunts, Helen Greiner and Dema Jo Noellsch, both of Oregon; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joseph farmed in the Oregon area. He was a member of the Oregon United Methodist Church and had served on the South Holt School Board.
Services: Friday, 11:00 am, Oregon United Methodist Church. Family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to services. Interment with military rites: Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon. Memorials: Oregon United Methodist Church Music Department or the Leukemia Association
