Joyce Marie Lueck was born on June 2, 1945 in
Fairfax, Missouri to Albert and Alice (Prater) Fries. She graduated from Mound
City High School and then later became a nurse.
Joyce passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at a
Kansas City area hospital at the age of 68.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and several
brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Richard Lueck of Craig,
Missouri; daughters, Michelle Lueck of Kansas City, Kansas, and Angela Conner
of Independence, Missouri; grandchildren, Bryttni, Jacob, Jared, Hannah and
Zachary; great grandchildren, Jaydin, Xaylin, Riylen, Lilliana, and Star;
brother, Edwin Fries of Craig; and sisters, Beverly Gilland of Craig, Susie
Nowling of Craig, and Judith Dunn of Maryville, Missouri.
Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at 2:00
pm at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Mound City, Missouri. Family greeted
friends one hour prior to services. Memorials may be directed to the Joyce
Lueck Memorial Fund.
