Karrilu Plummer

Karrilu Plummer, 61, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at a St Joseph hospital.

She was born on February 27, 1962 in North Kansas City to John R. and Rosemary “Billie” (Curtis) Crum. Karrilu grew up in Dearborn, Missouri, and graduated from North Platte High School in 1980.

On August 15, 1992 she was married to Charles D. Plummer.

Karrilu worked as an assistant librarian at the Oregon Public Library for 20 years. She had also worked in the laundry department at the Oregon care center. Karrilu enjoyed attending garage sales.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Kay Batliner.

Survivors include her husband, Charles, of their Forest City home; her son, Dustin; her sister, Kim (Lanny) Hecker of Taos, Missouri; a grandson, Tristan; and nieces and nephews.

Family visitation: Monday, May 15, 2023, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Funeral services: Tuesday, May 16, 2023, 10:30 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Interment: Forest City Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Oregon Public Library or to the Forest City Cemetery.
