Kenneth N. Bowman, 88, of Rock Port, Mo., passed away March 14, 2017.
He was born Oct. 12, 1928 in Fairfax, Mo., one of seven children of Clifford and Beulah (Harmon) Bowman. Kenneth served in the U.S. Marines.
Following the military Kenneth worked at Bell and Howell in Chicago for several years before returning to Rock Port. He then worked as a security guard for Missouri Beef Packers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stanley, Jerry, Robert and William Bowman; and sister, Julie Shaw.
Kenneth is survived by his sister, Joan Case, Watson, Missouri and nieces and nephews, including Sheila Cooper, Rock Port, Deborah Crain, Hamburg, Iowa, Tim and Mike Shaw, Tarkio, Mo. and Angela Balle, Burlington Junction, Mo.
Services with military rites: Monday, 11:00 am, Linden Church, Rock Port. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services. Private family inurnment: Linden Cemetery.
