Kenneth "K.R." Kneale

Kenneth Robert "K.R." Kneale was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 18, 1940. He was the second of four children born to Kenneth E. and Esther E. (Marriner) Kneale.

K.R. attended New Point school and later graduated from Oregon High School. He then graduated from Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri. It was there that he met Sue Ellen Conner. They were married on December 27, 1963, and became parents of one daughter.

In the past K.R. worked at Bartlett grain, and most recently Ventura Foods in St Joseph.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was an Omaha Tangier Shriner member. K.R. was also a Mensa Society member. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chiefs, NASCAR, and golf.

K.R. passed away at a St. Joseph hospital on March 17, 2025 at the age of 84. Proceeding him were his parents; siblings, Bill Kneale, Ben Kneale, and Judy Scheib; brother-in-law, Don Scheib; and sister-in-law, Carol Conner Wilcox.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Sue; daughter, Beth (Robert) Adams of Omaha; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Brigitte Conner; grandchildren, Zachary, Ian, and Avery; nephews, Scott Scheib, John Kneale, and Frank Lomangino; nieces, Carol Rogers, Cindy Kneale, and Nicole Lomangino; and many cousins, including Jerry Kneale.

Services: Monday, March 24, 2025, 1:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon, Missouri, where the family will greet friends from noon until 1:00 pm. Inurnment: Cowan Cemetery, New Point, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to the Cowan Cemetery.
