Lanny E. Worley

Lansing Eugene “Lanny” Worley was born in Fairfax, Missouri on May 5, 1960. He was one of two sons of Larry E. and LaVona L. (Reynolds) Worley.

Lanny graduated from Benton High School in St. Joseph, Missouri and then moved to Holt County. He lived in Forest City and worked as an equipment operator for Sur Gro.

Lanny enjoyed his farm, farming, and being outdoors hunting and fishing.

Lanny passed away in Atchison, Kansas on May 28, 2015 at the age of 55.

Survivors include his mother, LaVona Worley and friend Larry Craig of Forest City; father and stepmother, Larry and Janice Worley of St. Joseph; brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Cathy Worley of Holt, Missouri; nephews, Jarrod and Dakota Worley, and Josh Junco; niece, Nikki Junco; great niece, Adalynn Worley; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services: Tues., June 2, 2015, 10:30 am, Forest City Christian Church. Family visitation: Mon, June 1, 2015, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon, Mo. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials: Forest City Christian Church.
