Lisle E. Meers, Jr. was born on August 8, 1952 to Lisle and Edith (Mullins) Meers in Amazonia, Missouri. He graduated from Savannah High School.
On July 7, 2007 Lisle married Sheri Hastings in Fairfax, Missouri. She survives of their Mound City home.
Lisle passed away on March 31, 2017 at a Kansas City, Missouri hospital at the age of 64.
In addition to his wife, Sheri, he is survived by children, Ryan Meers of Greeley Colorado, Charity (Cristina) Argundo of Kansas City, Kansas, Danny (Miranda) Tubbs of Gardner, Kansas, Chuck (Casey Bryant) Seamster of Cameron, Missouri, David Seamster of Mound City, and Brian (Jessica) Seamster of Bethany, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Lisle was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alice Eklund.
Lisle was a John Deere salesman. He worked for Hiawatha Implement in Mound City and later for Northwest Implement in Maryville.
