Loretta A. Horne was born May 10, 1940 to Bruno Anthony and Ida Vera (Mann) Montegna. She married Lawrence Franklin Horne in 1961, and they became parents of three children.
Loretta had worked at Tiffany Heights, the former Hardee's restaurant, and the Mound City Nutrition Site.
She was a member of the Mound City Baptist Church, where she served as pianist.
She enjoyed music, crafts, painting, raising and riding horses, and travelling.
Loretta passed away in St. Joseph, Missouri on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the age of 80.
Proceeding her in death were her parents, husband, Lawrence; their son, Jerry; brothers, Roxie and Delmar Montegna; and grandson, Bruno Soto.
Survivors include her daughters, Ida Soto of Mound City, and Julie Horne of St. Joseph.
