Lyle Wayne Boswell

Lyle Wayne Boswell was born on October 29, 1951 to Wayne D. and Lois J. (Bunch) Boswell in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Lyle graduated from South Holt High School in 1969, where he participated in track and basketball. After high school Lyle joined the U.S. Army. Lyle then farmed with his father, raising row crops, cattle, and Hampshire hogs.

Lyle attended the Bolckow Open Door Christian Center Church. Lyle loved worshipping the Lord with his church and was generous in sharing with many Christian ministries around the globe.

Lyle passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at his New Point, Missouri home.

Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his stepmother, Lucille Boswell, New Point; sisters and brothers-in-law, Angela and Richard White of New Point, Missouri, and Teresa and Wayne McGinnis of Scranton, Kansas; step-sister, Linda Geib, New Point, Missouri; nephews, Ben (Jennifer) White and children Sheldon, Madison and Graham of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Zach (Claire) White and their children Elizabeth and Charles of Parkville, Missouri, and Neal (Autumn) McGinnis and their sons Kendryk, Bradyn, Devyn, Kyler and Ayden of Perkins, Oklahoma; and niece, Leah McGinnis and her daughters, Kailei, Kenedei and Kameron of Stephenville, Texas.

Funeral services with military honors: Monday, January 14, 2019, 11:00 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment: New Point Cemetery. Memorials: New Point Cemetery, or Gideons International.
