Lynn Marie (Jones) Rech

Lynn Marie (Jones) Rech was born on May 20, 1958 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was one of three children of Dale Eugene and Roberta Lois (Harms) Jones.

Lynn graduated from East High School in Lincoln, and attended Lincoln School of Business and University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

On May 18, 1996 she married Daniel L. Rech in Columbus, Nebraska. They moved to Rock Port, Missouri in 1998.

Lynn worked at Cooper Nuclear Station, Brownville, Nebraska as an administrative assistant.

Following a lengthy illness, she passed away at her Rock Port home on Monday, June 25th at the age of 54.

She is survived by her husband Dan, of their home; two brothers, Steve (Mary) Jones and Don Jones, all of Lincoln; mother-in-law, Dorothy Dowling of Raymond, Nebraska; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barbara (Bill) Thielen, and Theresa (Phil) Zimmers, all of Omaha, Geraldine (David) Zimmers of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Patty (Dave) Holewinski of Irving, New York, Ron (Janice) Rech of Blair, Nebraska, Kathy (Darin) Hurlbut and Jackie (Mike) Thompson, all of Lincoln; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynn loved all animals, especially her pet cats. She enjoyed photography and artwork. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Tarkio, Missouri.

Family visitation was held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with Rosary at 7:30, all at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Funeral mass was held Thursday, June 27, 2012, 10:30 am, at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ, 3500 Sheridan Blvd. Lincoln. Interment was held at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
