Marc Cowan

Marc Cowan was born in Denver, Colorado on February 20th, 1964.  He was one of seven children of William Joseph “Bill” Cowan, Jr. and Marlene Jeane (McCabe) Cowan. Marc became the father of two daughters, Sarah and Candace.

He passed November 21, 2023 in Mound City, Missouri.

In his much younger years Marc was a bull rider. He was also a truck driver for many years and enjoyed carpentry, at which he was a craftsman in his own right. Marc was a simple person, who loved to read. He was a collector of many unique items. His real enjoyment was to spend holidays and any day with friends and family. He would help anybody who needed it, not expecting anything in return. He always left you with a smile. Marc enjoyed taking naps in his Ford Ranger.

Marc was preceded by his parents, Bill and Marlene Cowan; his twin brother, Craig Cowan; brother, Danny Cowan; and his sister, Jan Diamond.

Survivors include his daughters, Sarah Hegwer of Soldotna, Alaska, and Candice Ashley Cowan of Vista, California; brother, Mike Cowan of Texas: sisters, Michelle Armstrong of Georgia and Margaret (Ed) Vera of Texas; and 17 nieces and nephews. He will be missed.
