Marcy Jean Whitlatch, age 60, of Oregon, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 at the Oregon Care Center.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1957 in Des Moines, Iowa, one of eight children of Russell and Gladys (Piper) Whitlatch.
Marcy was preceded in death by a son, Shawn M. Whitlatch; and her father.
Survivors include her mother, Gladys, of Des Moines; son, Donald Whitlatch of Oregon; daughter, Angela (Shawn) Moore of Oregon; brothers, Raymond (Janette) of Des Moines; Steve (Julie) of Newton, Iowa, Lanny of Des Moines, Michael (Kathy) of Des Moines, and Donald (Michelle) of Indianola, Iowa; sisters, Mona Lynn Riddiford of Winterset, Iowa, and Thora Whitlatch of Oregon; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, with three great grandchildren on the way.
Marcy enjoyed crocheting and computer games.
No services are planned at this time. A private family inurnment will be held at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Des Moines at a later date.
